For the Diest branch

Do you have a heart for people? Do you understand economic reality? Do you also want to combine the best of both worlds?

  • You will be responsible for the daily personnel management of the 200 employees in the Diest department;
  • You are – together with the social service officer – the main point of contact for all personnel-related and social issues in the department;
  • You will ensure the local rollout of Entiris’ central human resources policy, working closely with the central HR departments;
  • You will follow up on staff planning in consultation with your colleagues in production;
  • You track employee arrivals and absences and ensure correct records – this in close consultation with central payroll;
  • You will be responsible for welcoming new employees and following up on the departure of employees who are leaving;
  • You will follow up on formal staff interviews both substantively and administratively. You conduct development, evaluation or adjustment interviews yourself or you support your colleagues in doing so. These can be difficult and intensive conversations or pathways that also touch on the personal and social lives of sheltered workers;
  • You will schedule training for the employees in the department and ensure proper record keeping;
  • You give regular training yourself;
  • You will keep a finger on the pulse of the ins and outs of the department’s human resources so that you can help think about solutions and improvements;
  • You will work closely with the social service officer – who reports to you;
  • You will report to your department’s production manager and to the central director of personnel.
  • You are smooth to deal with and you like it when employees address you frequently;
  • You are in touch with the lives of sheltered workers;
  • You find a healthy balance between professional distance and proximity;
  • You can set clear boundaries and be firm without sacrificing patience and tolerance;
  • You can persuade and motivate others;
  • You are organizationally and administratively strong, you can keep a good overview in a multitude of tasks;
  • You have initial leadership experience;
  • You are stress resistant.
  • You consider the fixed working hours of a manufacturing company an advantage.
  • An open-ended contract and a competitive and flexible salary package.
  • We prefer to see this filled full-time but are open to part-time work.
  • A good work-life balance: you have the opportunity to accumulate 26 compensation days per year. Starting at age 35, you also enjoy additional vacation days.
