Do you have a heart for people? Do you understand economic reality? Do you also want to combine the best of both worlds?

  • You plan, organize and follow up the assignments of the Green Service, in consultation with the production manager
  • You will supervise the Green Service work leaders. These work leaders usually work on the move with a team of sheltered workers. You maintain adequate contact with the work leaders, coaching and adjusting as needed.
  • You keep track of the stock of raw materials and give timely notice when orders are due.
  • You will monitor the deployment of employees together with the work leaders and the production manager, and you will indicate in a timely manner when there are too many or too few employees.
  • You guarantee profitability through the optimal use of available people and resources according to the parameters of the pre-calculation.
  • You will keep a finger on the pulse of the goings on in the Green Service so you can help think about solutions and improvements.
  • You will maintain your knowledge of green management and monitor innovations or changes in the industry.
  • You will be part of the management team of the department, participate in consultations and, together with your colleagues and under the direction of the production manager, you will ensure a well-run department.
  • You have several years of leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or green space management.
  • You have knowledge of – or at least a keen interest in – green space management.
  • You have social and communication skills.
  • You do not mind making many trips to visit the different sites of the green teams.
  • You have at least a high school diploma with a technical and/or social background.
  • You are committed to helping achieve our social objective.
  • You have a driver’s license and your own transportation.
  • An open-ended contract and a competitive and flexible salary package.
  • We prefer to see this filled full-time but are open to part-time work.
  • A good work-life balance: you have the opportunity to accumulate 26 compensation days per year. Starting at age 35, you also enjoy additional vacation days.
  • A large and financially stable organization yet agile and flexible with short decision lines.
  • Every day you make a social contribution in your daily work. Our sheltered workers are at the center. Our objective is social; so is the policy.
